I finally subbed to SW:TOR and hoping to play it at least sometimes, so i’m gonna post stuff about it in the future. This is just a small tip for those whose “main” planet is Coruscant – how to get back to Republic Fleet. Coruscant can be a bitch to navigate around, and at first i even thought that Republic Fleet is one of those newbie zones that you can’t get back to, but of course it’s not true. Here’s how you do it… (more…)
The second post with Alicia Online (a horse racing online game) quest walkthroughs, with more quests covered. I write about Alicia Online quests that aren’t 100% obvious on what you need to do to complete them. Feel free to share your own information regarding quests, if you have any, in the comment section! For the previous post on this theme please head here: Tips&Tricks: Alicia Online – Quest Walkthrough – Part 1, also, don’t forget to visit ChickGeekGames.com YouTube channel for Alicia Online videos! More Alicia Online videos ;) This video shows how to use horse toys in Alicia Online to play with your horse. I’m sure many of you are able to do it better than me, but still ;) I couldn’t find a video about this, only a piece of other video where the author showed horse feeding, tending and playing with a bow, but not with a carrot. If you just started playing and the toys are blocked (grayed out) for you, don’t worry, they will unlock after some time. I think it happens when your horse is happy enough (the top meter should be of some size and also pink, which means the horse is happy). (more…)
This video shows in-game tutorials for game controls in Alicia Online, the horse racing MMORPG we all love so much ;) They weren’t full-screen so i enlarged that part of the video so the keys pressed during the tutorials would be more clear to see.
I’m playing ARGO Online today so i made a couple of videos in the newbie zone. You can find them at freshly-made Chick Geek Games YouTube channel here ;) This one shows a tip on Shinbad’s Journal quest, which almost drove me nuts before i figured that the quest objective was up on that platform:
Hello to all Alicia Online fans! I have started playing a new character and intent to post helpful stuff from now on for those who have just started playing. This post will help you finish Alicia Online quests (those that aren’t 100% obvious on what you need to do to complete them) and will be upgraded with more quests until i make a second post. Feel free to share your own information regarding quests in the comment section, I’m sure everyone will appreciate it! (more…)
I sometimes write off-topic posts, but this time it’s even a useful one :) I’m going to tell how to make a cheap lightbox at home, along with lighting system and stuff. Me and my husband are working together on a website project that requires shooting the client’s glass stuff for a catalogue, and we have no professional equipment or the money to buy one, so we built an affordable lightbox and the lights for it right at home. Yes, this post is not exactly related to games, but i wanted to share it with my twitter friends and i don’t have other blogs written on English, so… if you’re not interested, just pass on this post :) (more…)
This is a 3rd port in the series of detailed explanation of how to get your hands on Alicia Online. The first was on how to register an account for Alicia Online and then the second onhow to download Alicia Online. Let’s assume you have already registered an account, downloaded and installed the game, now i will explain what you need to do in order to run it. If you’re going to do that win Windows 7 OS, you must either own an Ultimate or Enterprise version, because you will need to install Korean Language Pack. Other versions won’t let you install the language pack so Alicia won’t run. So far i haven’t heard of a successful attempt to run Alicia with Vistalizator or something like that, but i can’t verify that it’s 1000% impossible, because i own W7 Ultimate and can’t check for myself. If you were able to run Alicia under other versions of W7 OS, please let me know!
Alicia Online is a cool Korean fantasy horse racing and I’ve been writing about it a lot. In the previous posts i told you how to register an account for Alicia Online (and also how to find KSSN). This post is the next step – how to download the game after you created an account for yourself. Before downloading the game you’ll need to know that if you have Windows 7 it must be either Enterprise or Ultimate versions, or you won’t be able to play. I’ll explain why at the end of this post. And now, how do you go about downloading Alicia Online? (more…)
Alicia Online is a Korean fantasy horse racing, I’ve been posting about it a lot and it’s probably the most popular theme in this blog (at least, the one commented on most). It’s a cool game, but Alicia Online’s English version release date is unknown and because this game is Korean you can’t just register, download and play it right away. But, fear not! There is a way to register an account for Alicia Online to play it – even if you don’t have a Korean friend to do it for you! If you want to know, how to register an account for Alicia Online, this post is for you :)
In previous post about Prius Online and ARGO Online IP blockage i told you about two ways to pass an IP block: first way is to use a virtual or dedicated server with access to its operating system via Remote Desktop session manager, and a second (and much more common) is to use a program that will let you connect to a proxy server in another country, so your browser will work through that server and the sites you’ll be visiting will see that server’s IP instead of yours. I took as an example Proxy Switcher software, and in this post i’m going to show you how to register an account for a service where you are banned by IP, on example of GPotato Prius Online site. (more…)
It was just a couple of days ago that i went totally apeshit on Alaplaya’s fucked-up ARGO Online Beta IP blockade that left me out of playing after sending me a beta key, and now it appears that GPotato has picked up the same kind of behavior: blocking away registrations based on IP. What Alaplaya did: first they allowed me to register and THEN banned from playing (i couldn’t even access my account anymore, and their support did not even know why is that). What GPotato does: they won’t even let me register an account while i’m under Russian IP. What a bunch of lousy motherfuckers. Anyways, a gamer can never be turned away from a game by some minor obstacles (unless dealing with Korean government). As i want to play both ARGO Online and Prius Online very badly, i’m exploring ways to get past the IP block and into the games. (more…)
