The Price of Persia reboot in 2008 – IMHO – was one of the best things happening to the series. I’m playing it for 2nd time and it’s still as much awesome: game mechanic based on acrobatics motion-captured from a live god of parkour (from the looks of that guy), and those hilarious dialogues between characters, Prince cracking jokes every now and then, and the unique graphics – it all made it a great experience, so I wanted to share it in a couple of videos, coming back to this game for the 2nd time.

This video is only a couple weeks old, we’re living in a rented space right now and it has this awfully small kitchen with no dishwasher (the horror!!!) and everything cramped together, still the Gamer Cat gets the best out of his situation. He’s fishing for a dishwashing sponge, by the way (they are made in bright colors, he just can’t resist).YouTube responded to TubePress with an HTTP 410 - No longer available
Rather old video of the Gamer Cat from (probably) last summer I found on my PC and edited. We were living in an apartment with this huge bed in it, and kitty had all kinds of fun playing on it.YouTube responded to TubePress with an HTTP 410 - No longer available
I’ve been playing SWTOR again lately, and i *finally* reached the end of Chapter 1 on my Jedi Knight character and, purely accidentally, i made choices that lead to Kira Carsen becoming a full-fledged Jedi Knight herself (the “accidentally” part means i heard she could “graduate” from being a padawan at some point in the game, but i didn’t knew when or where). So this video shows how i made it, so you could do that, too. I’m sure there’s a ton of other videos showing the same thing, yet still here it is. The quest line that leads Kira Carsen to her Jedi career starts with “Fate of the Jedi” quest. Also, as this is a recording of Star Wars: The Old Republic gameplay it’s obviously heavy on story spoilers, DUH!YouTube responded to TubePress with an HTTP 410 - No longer available
This one is new: I tried both recording gameplay video off my iPhone and commenting on it. There are a few hickups here and there, but not a complete disaster I was waiting for, lol. Will get better quality next time.
And the gameplay in this video belongs to Terra Noctis, an adorable iOS platformer.YouTube responded to TubePress with an HTTP 410 - No longer available
Alicia Online: Step-by-step guide on how to run it on Windows 7 Professional / Windows 7 Home using Vistalizator
And a long-due guide, I say! A couple of years ago I thought that Alicia could only run on Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise versions, because they have access to Language packs, and Korean is needed to be installed for Alicia Online to run. That was a mistake, fortunately, which some of my readers proved by leaving comments about being able to run it on other versions. I personally had no access to “lower” tiers of Windows, so I couldn’t see how it works, which is now fixed – here is a guide how I was able to run it on Windows 7 Professional. Should work for Home/Home Premium as well. Click previews to see bigger versions of screenshots.
First of all: this cosplay of Catherine is absolutely gorgeous. I had no chance to play the game when I still had my PS3, but from game art I’ve see, this cosplay is right on spot. The beautiful cosplayer doing this is Elian, (check out her DeviantArt account here) she is from Moscow, Russia. She’s a future lawyer and want to see Japan some day, but in the meantime she enjoys making costumes from her favourite anime and Japanese games. The photos are taken by Taya, here’s her DeviantArt page too.
Funny thing, when I first found this cosplay and took a look at the photographer, she happened to be studying in Moscow’s British High School of Design & Art on Graphic Design program, and I began studying AT THE VERY SAME school just a week ago, only she’s in full enrolment and I am at preparation 6 month long courses. We might even meet in a corridor or something, isn’t that funny how small the world is? (more…)
Another gaming cosplay, this time it’s a Wizard (Elyos) character from Aion fantasy MMORPG by Anita Lust, a cosplayer from Ukraine. Besides cosplaying, Anita is into anime and she also sews costumes for sale for other cosplayers – check Anita Lust’s viantArt page here. I was shocked to learn that people are actually telling her to stop cosplaying because she has an 8-year old daughter and therefore is “old”. I certainly hope she’ll keep ignoring those morons, because, I must say, there is no “awesome” or “amazing” in this post’s title only because I already called most of the previous posts that and it looks kinda repeated. But Anita’s cosplay IS amazing too. I especially like the background setting author choose for this photo set, it’s bright and sunny, and compliments the costume very well. The photos themselves are by Eva.
In the previous two part i wrote how to import content from Blogger into WordPress, how to set up URL structure at WordPress to be just like in Blogger (so your site won’t lose any ratings) and how to fix Featured images in WordPress (“fix” in a sense that they do not exist at all after the import). This post is a list of useful plugins you might need to get working before actually launching you WordPress blog. I did not include SEO plugins because, you know, I’m not talking about setting up some money-making niche blog here, i’m talking about setting up a blog that works and has all the essential functions. You can read Part 1 here and Part 2 here.
